Conference Unites Customers, Qualys Engineers and Industry Experts to Share Best Practices for IT Security and Compliance

Redwood City, Calif. - September 29, 2009 - - Qualys®, Inc., the leading provider of on demand IT security risk and compliance management solutions, today announced its seventh annual Qualys Security Conference 2009. Qualys CEO Philippe Courtot will kick-off the conference with a keynote titled, “Cloud Computing: What does this mean to the Security Industry and the Security Professional,” at 8:30 a.m. PT on Monday, October 5. Additional keynote presentations will be given by Bob Russo, GM, PCI Security Standards Council and Mark Nicolette, VP distinguished analyst, security and privacy, Gartner.

Over the course of the two days, several Qualys customers will present keynote presentations and best practices on use of vulnerability and compliance management solutions. Presenting customers include: Brad Freeman, global security services leader, General Electric; Doug Dexter, audit team lead, Cisco; Robert Wagner, security architect, TransUnion; Tim Larson, security consultant, Nokia Siemens Networks and Steven Elefant, CIO of Heartland Payment Systems.
