Qualys CEO Philippe Courtot Receives the 2015 Industry Leadership Award from the Cloud Security Alliance

Courtot Honored for His Industry Innovations and Support as a Founding Member of the Cloud Security Alliance

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – RSA Conference USA 2015, Booth #N3421 - April 20, 2015 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) has named Philippe Courtot, CEO of cloud security firm Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), as the 2015 recipient of the CSA Industry Leadership Award. The CSA Industry Leadership Award is given to individuals in recognition of their contributions in advancing secure cloud computing initiatives. Qualys is a founding corporate member of the CSA, and Courtot has been key in helping raise awareness around cloud security and key trends driving the market.

He has also worked to drive initiatives that encourage collaboration within the IT security community. Courtot is a co-founder of the CSO Interchange, which provides a forum for sharing information in the security industry. He is also a member of the board of directors for StopBadware.org, and in 2012, he launched the Trustworthy Internet Movement, a nonprofit, vendor-neutral organization committed to resolving the problems of Internet security, privacy and reliability.
