Title: Major Remote Code Execution Flaw With Android Disclosed
Description: A major flaw within an Android core media library has been
disclosed by researchers at Zimperium. Dubbed Stagefright, the flaw
within the library is due to the a coding deficiency where specially
crafted MMS files could result in remote code execution on the target
device. Google has patched the vulnerability within their code base.
However, users will remain at risk until OEMs and carriers push out the
patch. Users are advised to manually disable auto-fetching of MMS
messages as a workaround to prevent getting compromised.

Title: Cross Site Scripting (XSS) Vulnerability Within WordPress Patched
Description: WordPress has released an advisory and an updated version
of its blogging platform software to address a cross site scripting
(XSS) vulnerability. The flaw could allow users with “the Contributor
or Author role to compromise” a WordPress installation. WordPress
installation administrators are strongly encouraged to update to the
latest version immediately to reduce the possibility of compromise.

Title: Four Vulnerabilities within Internet Explorer Mobile Disclosed
Description: The Zero Day Initiative has released four zero-day
vulnerabilities affecting Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile. These
flaws could possibly result in remote code execution on Windows Phone
devices. These vulnerabilities originally also affected Internet
Explorer for desktop versions of Windows, but those flaws have been
patched.
