Diffle-Hellman Key Exchange (a.k.a. Logjam)
NOTABLE RECENT SECURITY ISSUES SELECTED BY THE TALOS SECURITY INTELLIGENCE AND RESEARCH GROUP
Title: CVE-2015-4000 - Protocol Flaw Could Allow A Man-in-the-Middle
Attacker To Downgrade TLS Connections During Diffle-Hellman Key Exchange
(a.k.a. Logjam)
Description: A flaw in how the TLS Protocol handles a Diffie-Hellman key
exchange could allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to execute a downgrade
attack to DHE_EXPORT ciphers, which are weaker. As a result, the
attacker could possibly eavesdropped on client-server communications.
Servers that support DHE_EXPORT ciphers are primarily at risk and
administrators who are concerned should disable support for export grade
cipher suites.

Title: CVE-2015-2851 - Synology Cloud Station Sync Client for Mac OS X
Could Allow Users to Change Ownership of System Files
Description: Researchers have found that the Synology Cloud Station
Client for Mac OS X comes with an executable that allows users to change
ownership of files, but is installed as a setuid root executable. This
could allow a user to change ownership of system files and compromise
the host. Synology has released updates for the client that remove the
executable in order to prevent abuse and address the issue.
