Title: WordPress 4.1.2 Released; Security Issues Addressed
Description: WordPress has released an update to the blog platform,
addressing a cross-site scripting vulnerability which could allow an
unauthenticated attacker to compromise a site. Three other security
issues were also addressed in the update which affects WordPress 3.9 and
higher. Users are strongly encouraged to update their WordPress
installations to version 4.1.2.

Title: XSS Vulnerability Affecting Multiple WordPress Plugins
Description: An XSS vulnerability within multiple WordPress plugins has
been discovered and addressed. The issue is “due to the misuse of the
add_query_arg() and remove_query_arg() functions” within plugins,
resulting in unsanitized variables being used within the vulnerable
plug-ins. All known affected plug-ins have been patched and users are
strongly encouraged to update their WordPress plug-ins if they are found
to be out of date.

Description: A security researcher has made public a vulnerability

in attempting to address the issue. Mojang has patched the
vulnerability in response to the vulnerability disclosure.
