Qualys CEO Elected to the Jericho Forum® Board of Management

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - January 15, 2009 - Qualys®, Inc., the leading provider of on demand IT security risk and compliance management solutions, announces CEO Philippe Courtot has been elected to the Board of Management (BoM) of the Jericho Forum (http://www.jerichoforum.org). Philippe joins industry luminaries from AstraZeneca, Boeing, BP, Capgemini, Dresdner Kleinwort and Eli Lilly on the governing board.

The Jericho Forum began in 2004 when a group of global corporate CISOs came together informally to discuss an issue that no one was addressing – de-perimeterization – the erosion of the network perimeter. The Jericho Forum is dedicated to the idea that success in today’s business environment is dependant upon the ability to collaborate and conduct business by enabling the secure flow of data over the Internet. In 2009, the Jericho Forum will focus its efforts on securing cloud computing.
