Qualys Announces the Appointment of Sandra Bergeron to its Board of Directors

Redwood City, CA - October 30, 2006 - Qualys^®, Inc., a global leader in on demand vulnerability management and Compliance, today announced that Sandra Bergeron has joined the company’s board of directors. Bergeron has a national reputation as a computer security thought leader whose opinions are often sought out by both government and private industry leaders. She has testified to the Subcommittee on Technology within the House Science Committee regarding how government and private industry can better prepare for virus attacks and was selected by U.S. Congressman Mike Honda to serve on the Silicon Valley Blue Ribbon Task Force on Aviation Security and Technology.

About Sandra Bergeron

In her ten-year career at McAfee, Inc. (NYSE: MFE), Sandra Bergeron held various executive positions within the company including senior vice president of U.S. Sales, president of the PGP Security Business Unit, and executive vice president of Mergers/Acquisitions and Corporate Strategy. Bergeron is currently the chairman of the board of TraceSecurity, Inc. She is also on the board of ArcSight, Inc. and TriCipher Inc. and is a venture advisor to Trident Capital. Bergeron also sits on the board of advisors for the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Prior to her current board of directors roles, Bergeron served on the board of directors of three public companies: Tipping Point, Netegrity, and Nuance Communications, all of whom were acquired by public companies.

Most recently she was honored with the 2005 Robinson Alumni Technology Leadership Award at Georgia State University and was recognized as one of Information Security Magazine’s Top 25 Women of Vision in 2003. Bergeron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Cum Laude) from Georgia State University and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
