VeriSign Integrates Qualys' Online Security Audit with Website Certificate Services

(Nasdaq:VRSN), the leading provider of Internet trust services, and Qualys, Inc., a leader in online network security services, today announced that VeriSign has integrated a free one-month subscription to Qualys’ new online security auditing service, QualysGuard™, with VeriSign’s Global Site and Global Site Plus website service offerings. The QualysGuard service enables webmasters and network administrators to evaluate potential network security risks in real time over the Internet by graphically mapping network vulnerabilities and suggesting possible solutions, including links to patches. By offering this new service, VeriSign continues to enhance its Global Site and Global Site Plus website services, providing customers with the most complete set of secure e-commerce services available on the market today.

Pricing and Availability
The QualysGuard service, bundled with VeriSign’s Global Site and Global Site Plus offerings for websites for a free 30-day period, is available now. During the 30-day trial period, customers can access the QualysGuard service to perform five (5) scans, or audits, on a single designated IP address. The five scans can be run at any time during the 30-day period, and can be launched simply by logging into a secure website and entering their login name and password.
