Partnership delivers all-in-one vulnerability management workflow with customized reporting against NHS Cyber Alerts
FOSTER CITY, Calif. – November 19, 2021 – Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and leading provider of disruptive cloud-based IT, security and compliance solutions, today announced its Vulnerability Management, Detection and Response (VMDR) solution is embedded in the Cloud21 vulnerability management solution, which also includes customizations to increase the security posture of the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
Cloud21 customers now have access to Qualys VMDR to meet their visibility and vulnerability management and remediation requirements across their global hybrid IT environments. Additionally, Cloud21 has leveraged VMDR’s powerful dashboarding and reporting capabilities to allow NHS IT teams to manage and report on historical and newly issued NHS Cyber Alerts.
Qualys’ lightweight Cloud Agents are embedded and fully integrated with the Cloud21 Vulnerability Management service. This allows Cloud21 and its customers to standardize on one agent to deliver asset discovery and inventory, vulnerability assessment including configuration controls, threat prioritization and patch identification. It also gives customers one-click access to additional Qualys solutions such as File Integrity Monitoring, Patch Management and Multi-Vector EDR.
“Through our interactions with NHS clients, our vulnerability management services team saw a need for an uncomplicated, trustworthy cloud solution to serve the specific vulnerability assessment and compliance needs of the NHS,” said Mark Bishop, Director of Technical Services at Cloud 21. “In my 20+ years at the NHS, Qualys VMDR is by far the best tool I have worked with for accuracy and ease of use. With the addition of Cloud21 modules that enable NHS IT teams to manage and report on historical and newly issued NHS Cyber Alerts as well as DSPT compliance, Qualys VMDR now offers a full end-to-end solution for the NHS.”
“We are honoured to be working with Cloud21 to provide security solutions to the UK health market and to help protect the NHS from potential threats and vulnerabilities,” said Matthew Middleton-Leal, Managing Director, EMEA North and English-speaking African Countries at Qualys. “Through this partnership, Qualys VMDR powers the Cloud21 vulnerability management program providing full visibility, lower false positives and one-click remediation in an end-to-end solution tailored to specifically report on NHS Cyber Alerts.”
