New offer enables companies to better secure their IT environment
As a key player in the cyber security market in Europe, Airbus Defence and Space now offers a vulnerability and compliance analysis service hosted in its Cyber Defence Centres, based on the ‘Private Cloud Platform’ of Qualys. Faced with the growing complexity of organisation information systems and the important quantity of data they have to handle, this service provides them automated management of a large volume of data and a web applications and assets analysis capability. Any vulnerabilities and nonconformities present on their information systems are thus systematically identified.
Based on its own tools and the competence of its cyber defence experts, Airbus Defence and Space additionally enhances this service with analysis and recommendation features. Thus contextual information can be provided on a company’s security status when faced with potential cyber attacks.
“Including this new service in our cyber security portfolio allows us to respond even more thoroughly to the vulnerability and compliance management needs of organisations, an issue that is of increasing concern to them,” said François Lavaste, Head of Cyber Security at Airbus Defence and Space. “This solution, which is already operational at several of our customers’ sites, provides them with a better overview of their security status.”
The service is made available to organisations either through direct access to the Private Cloud Platform via a secure portal, or from within Airbus Defence and Space’s monitoring services, where Airbus Defence and Space experts carry out scans and make recommendations to improve the protection of the organisation’s information systems.
