Qualys Named in Fastest-Growing Silicon Valley Private Companies List for Fourth Consecutive Year

Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal “Fast Private 2011” Awards Recognize Top Private Companies with Highest Revenue Growth

Redwood City, Calif. - October 17, 2011 - Qualys®, Inc., the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) IT security risk and compliance management solutions, today announced it has been recognised in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal’s “Fast Private” list, a ranking of the top private companies in the Silicon Valley based on percentage of revenue growth from 2008 to 2010. Qualys ranked #48, highlighting increasing customer adoption of the QualysGuard IT security and compliance solutions, delivered in the cloud via SaaS.

The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal’s “Fast Private” list, published as a special supplement in the publication’s October 14, 2011 issue, highlights Qualys’ ranking, which was announced at a private awards dinner held on October 13, 2011 in Mountain View, California at the Computer History Museum.

The “Fast Private” award is the latest in a series of accolades for Qualys. This year alone, Qualys earned three SC Magazine Awards including the prestigious Best Security Company in the Excellence Awards category. Qualys was also named in the 2011 AlwaysOn Global 250 Top Private Companies List, and has been recognised by leading industry analysts for its market leadership.
