Qualys Earns Top Ranking in Device Vulnerability Assessment Worldwide for 2009 Vendor Shares

Qualys Ranks No.1 for Second Consecutive Year and Increases Market Revenue Share

Redwood City, Calif. - February 7, 2011 - Qualys®, Inc. the leading provider of on demand IT security risk and compliance management solutions, today announced that IDC ranked Qualys as the worldwide market revenue leader for Device Vulnerability Assessment (VA) for the second consecutive year. The IDC Worldwide Security and Vulnerability Management Market for 2010-2014 and 2009 Vendor Shares(Doc.# 225988, Dec. 2010) ranks Qualys with a 14.4 percent market share in 2009, up from 13.4 percent in 2008, underscoring the rapid adoption of the QualysGuard suite– delivering IT security and compliance solutions to customers all over the world.
