ZION SECURITY announces partnership with Qualys to deliver on demand IT security and compliance solutions

Leuven, Belgium - 16 december 2010 - ZION SECURITY, the market leader in securing web applications, today announced a partnership with Qualys, the leading provider of on demand IT security risk and compliance management solutions. Under the partnership, ZION will offer ZION VERIFIED, powered by QualysGuard, to help customers successfully achieve vulnerability management and policy compliance while reducing costs and streamlining operations.

The security landscape is changing because of newest threats and attacks like Aurora, Stuxnet and many more that target specific vulnerabilities in an organization. This requires security managers to proactively identify and prioritize critical vulnerabilities in their organizations, across all IT assets including workstations, servers and applications. ZION SECURITY, a company specialized in information security and a trusted advisor for financial institutions, telecom, government, industrial organizations and SMBs, was looking for a solution that could be delivered as a service, simplifying complex, often manual tasks and processes associated with IT security and compliance.

QualysGuard automates the process of vulnerability management and policy compliance across the enterprise, providing network discovery and mapping, asset prioritization, vulnerability assessment reporting and remediation tracking according to business risk.
