Responsibilities

Qualys is looking for motivated Product Managers to support the QualysGuard SaaS On-Demand Security, Vulnerability Management, and Compliance platform. In addition, the Sr Product Manager will assist with expansion into other security solutions including Policy Compliance, PCI, and potentially other security areas. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally to develop and implement the next generation of products on top of QualysGuard. In this role the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of solutions from inception of ideas to go-to market strategies and effective execution. You will develop sound solutions to ensure that requirements are defined, technology is developed and tested and high-impact go to market strategies are in place to ensure a successful launch of solutions.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience within Product Management
  • Track record driving large scale initiates; building enterprise products and creating broad awareness within the network security community
  • Possess a solid understanding and comfort with technology; strong knowledge within the software and security sector
  • PCI knowledge and experience is required
  • Prefer backgrounds in one or more: Intrusion Detection Systems IDS, Intrusion Prevention IPS, Vulnerability Management, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, PCI Payment Card Industry, Security Information Management SIM, Web Services / Web Application Security / Web Application Scanning, Policy Compliance, GRC, Federal Regulations (HIPAA, GLBA, Sarbanes Oxley SOX, etc)
  • Proven success in the development and execution of go-to market strategies
  • Proven ability to launch products to the market and position products successfully for the enterprise
  • Experienced in working with development teams and managing a number of tasks/priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; as well as the ability to effectively communicate with customers; executive management and peers
  • BS/BA in Marketing or Engineering required

Lead Generation and Sales Development Representative Redwood City, CA

Responsibilities

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for qualifying inbound sales inquires via telephone and web. This candidate will qualify leads generated from direct and indirect marketing campaigns. The ability to understand prospects needs through knowledge of our technology, SaaS, and the network security industry in order to route the qualified opportunities to the appropriate account manager for further development and closure. The ability to interact with various levels of information technology professionals is essential, as you will need to be able to determine the level of interest in Qualys' products and services effectively. This Sales Development Representative role is a technology based sales role that requires the desire and initiative to master new technologies.

Qualifications
